Our before & after repair strategy ensures every component leaves our facility meeting or exceeding OEM specifications.
Our Repair Standard
Every component that passes through HME Parts Africa follows a strict QA/QC procedure. From initial inspection through to final testing and documentation, we apply OEM-aligned processes across all nine component categories.
01 Transmissions
Dismantle planetary sections and clutch packs
Inspect clutch plates, modulating valves, and solenoids
Check input shafts and gears for wear or damage
Replace worn parts with genuine OEM components
Crack test all critical components
Dyno test to OEM specifications
Complete documentation and prepare for shipping
02 Cylinders
Wash and fully dismantle the cylinder assembly
Separate rod from barrel and measure barrel tolerances
Check rod straightness and surface condition
Grind and re-chrome rod to OEM specification
Load test assembly under operating pressure
Fit new genuine seals and bushes
Complete documentation and prepare for shipping
03 Undercarriage
Measure track pitch, pin diameter, and link dimensions
Check grouser bar height against OEM compliance data
Line bore worn components to specification
Harden replacement pins and bushes with nitrogen gas
Assemble with track press to OEM tolerances
Torque pad bolts to OEM specifications
04 Engines
Inspect induction and air inlet systems
Check exhaust and muffler condition
Verify oil, fuel, and coolant levels and quality
Record idle RPM (high, low, stall) at operating temperature
Inspect turbo, cooling system, and all ancillaries
Install turbo timer and complete final documentation
05 Differentials
Pre-wash inspection prior to dismantling
Fully dismantle and assess all internal components
Evaluate crown wheel and pinion gears for wear
Order and fit genuine OEM replacement parts
Reassemble and conduct load testing
Complete documentation and prepare for shipping
06 Boom & Stick
Measure track pitch, pin diameter, and link dimensions
Check grouser bar height against OEM compliance data
Line bore worn components to specification
Harden replacement pins and bushes with nitrogen gas
Assemble with track press to OEM tolerances
Torque pad bolts to OEM specifications
07 Wheel Hub & Final Drive
Pressure clean all components thoroughly
Inspect spindle and brake pack condition
Machine bearing areas to correct tolerances
Replace planetary gears, ring gears, and duo-cone seals
Assemble and pre-test under load conditions
Send loading report to customer prior to shipping
08 Torque Converters
Disassemble all housings and internal components
Inspect stator, impeller, and all rotary parts
Replace charge pump with genuine OEM components
Reassemble to OEM specifications
Bench test under operating conditions
Complete documentation and prepare for shipping
09 Buckets
Build from OEM drawings using hardox material
Line bore all pivot points to specification
Fit OEM adaptor kits and wear packages
Weld using CO₂ welding procedures
Fit protective shrouds and heel shrouds
Sandblast and apply final paint finish
